
WHL Playoff Hockey Live On SHAW: Sunday, April 4 - Medicine Hat Tigers at Calgary Hitmen

Calgary, AB - Kris Foucault and the Calgary Hitmen welcome Emerson Etem and the Medicine Hat Tigers for Game 2 of their Husky WHL Eastern Conference semi-final series in WHL playoff action on Sunday.
Sunday's WHL playoff contest between the Tigers and Hitmen can be seen live throughout western Canada on SHAW and SHAW Direct channel 299 (5:00pm MST).
The Hitmen defeated the visiting Tigers 5-2 in Game 1 of the series on Friday night, stretching their post-season winning streak to four games. Calgary has scored 23 goals over the course of their last three games. Foucault scored two goals in Friday's Game 1 win over the Tigers.
The Tigers find themselves trailing the best-of-seven series 0-1 after losing Friday's series opener. The Tigers were outshot 29-17 by the Hitmen in Game 1 on Friday. Etem leads the Tigers in playoff scoring with four goals and seven points in seven games.
The Tigers will host the Hitmen for Games 3 and 4 of the best-of-seven series on Tuesday and Wednesday in Medicine Hat, AB.
KAL TIRE WHL WESTERN CONFERENCE
Ryan Johansen and the Portland Winterhawks welcome Brendan Gallagher and the Vancouver Giants for Game 2 of their Kal Tire WHL Western Conference semi-final series on Sunday.
The Giants skated to a 9-6 victory in Portland over the Hawks in Game 1 of the series on Saturday night to improve to 5-0 in the 2010 WHL playoffs. Gallagher scored four goals and added an assist in Saturday's win in Portland, and now has eight goals and 15 points in just five post-season contests.
The Winterhawks find themselves down 0-1 in the best-of-seven series after losing the opener on home ice in a wild goal-fest on Saturday. The Winterhawks have lost all four home games they have played in the 2010 WHL playoffs.
The Giants will host the Winterhawks for Games 3, 4 and 5, if necessary, on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday in Vancouver, B.C.
