Calgary Hitmen Fall 6-4 In Medicine Hat

Medicine Hat, AB - The Medicine Hat Tigers overcame a 2-0 deficit to defeat the Calgary Hitmen 6-4 Saturday night in the Gas City.

The line of Kale Kessy (2g 1a), Emerson Etem (1g 2a) and Matt MacKay (3a) combined for nine points.

Tyler Fiddler scored twice in the loss for Calgary while Joel Broda and Matt MacKenzie added singles. Misha Fisenko chipped in three assists.

The loss marked the first time in 10 games the Hitmen failed to pick up at least a single point.

Calgary heads into the Christmas Break with a Western Hockey League leading record of 26-9-1-1, good for 54 points. They hold a two point lead over Brandon, Saskatoon and Tri-City for number one overall.

The Hitmen return to action on December 27th in Cranbrook against the Kootenay Ice. It's then back home on Tuesday, December 29th to host the Regina Pats. Game time is 7:00 p.m. at the Pengrowth Saddledome.
