The Chicago White Sox have announced the following roster move affecting the Winston-Salem Dash:
- C Jeremy Dowdy promoted to Winston-Salem from rookie-level Bristol
A Raleigh native and Appalachian State product, Dowdy signed with the White Sox as an undrafted free agent last month. In five games with Bristol, Dowdy was hitting .412 (7-for-17) with three RBI.
