Rochester Red Wings News Release
On Saturday afternoon the Minnesota Twins placed shortstop Adam Everett on the 15-day disabled list (retroactive to April 15) with a right shoulder strain. To replace Everett on the 25-man roster, the Twins will recall infielder Brian Buscher from Triple-A Rochester. In 15 games with the Red Wings this season, Buscher is batting .345 (20-for-58) with two doubles, four home runs and 11 rbi. Buscher will wear uniform number 32....
TwinsBaseball.com and StarTribune.com report that injured RHP Kevin Slowey will make two rehab starts for Class A Ft. Myers and one for Rochester. His Red Wings start is scheduled for May 1 in Toledo...OF Michael Cuddyer will get some swings with Ft. Myers on a rehab assignment this week, with a goal of returning to the Twins next Friday.
