BOISE, Idaho- Two late interceptions by Boise Burn QB B.J. Rhode led to the Burn's seventh straight loss, 55-42 to the Tri-Cities Fever tonight before 4,818 fans at Qwest Arena.

The Fever got the scoring started early when Brian Baker found J.R. Thomas for the 9 yard score just 2:20 into the game. Boise answered with a Rhode to Ahmad Harris 23 yard TD (missed P.A.T) cutting the lead to 7-6. Tri-Cities outscored the Burn 14-3 the rest of the quarter, thanks to a pair of Byron Rogers touchdowns (10,9) for the 21-9 lead after the first quarter.

Each team scored 2 TDs in the second quarter. Lee Marks cut the lead to 5 points 1:31 into the quarter on a 4-yard strike from Rhode. Rogers third TD of the half came six-minutes later on an 18-yard strike from Barker. Casey Allen's team leading 23rd TD of the year cut the lead to 6 at 28-22, but a Deontrae Johnson 13-yard TD gave the Fever a 35-22 halftime lead.

Boise knotted the game at 35 in the third quarter after Ahmad Harris recorded his second TD of the game (9 yards) and Chris Stallworth picked off a Barker pass, returning it 19 yards for the score. But, Rogers fourth TD of the game, a 17-yard score, gave Tri-Cities the 42-35 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

Once again, the Burn tied the game when a catch by Casey Allen 1:51 into the final quarter evened the score at 42. But, a pair of interceptions would seal the deal for the Fever. JR Thomas broke off a 38-yard TD catch and Lernard Mack took a hand off from 2 yards out for the score, as the Fever handed Boise the loss.
