Burger Begins MLB Rehab Tonight at Truist Field

(UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, NC) -- Infielder Jake Burger, who is currently on the Chicago White Sox 10-day injured list with a bone bruise in his right hand, will begin a major league rehab assignment with the Charlotte Knights starting tonight. Gates are set to open at 6:00 p.m. and first pitch against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs from Truist Field is set for 7:04 p.m.
Burger, 26, was placed on the Chicago's injured list on July 6. He has appeared in 51 games with the White Sox this season and is hitting .250 (42-for-168) with 20 runs scored, nine doubles, one triple, eight home runs and 26 RBIs.
Burger began the 2022 season with the Knights and hit .213 (10-for-47) with 11 runs scored, three home runs and eight RBIs in 13 games.
