Bundy to Start Saturday for Keys

Frederick, MD - Orioles 2011 first round draft choice and top-rated prospect Dylan Bundy has been promoted to the Frederick Keys from Class-A Delmarva. The right-handed pitcher will make his Keys debut on Saturday, May 26th at 6 p.m. as the Keys take on the Salem Red Sox.

Bundy, 19, made his professional debut with Class-A Delmarva going 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA in eight starts. In 30 innings of work he allowed five hits and two unearned runs while fanning 40 batters. South Atlantic League batters hit .053 against Bundy.

The Orioles first round pick joins many other notable first round picks that have made their way through Frederick in the last decade. Nick Markakis (2003), Matt Wieters (2007), Brian Matusz (2008) and Manny Machado (2010) highlight the list of Orioles first round picks in the last ten years who have been Keys.
