SCHAUMBURG, IL - The Traverse City Beach Bums(9-18) tried to fight back from an early 6-0 hole but fell to the Schaumburg Boomers(14-14), 7-3.

The ball ended up at the backstop and DeBlieux scored from second, cutting the Schaumburg lead to 6-3.

The Boomers responded after the stretch getting a lead-off walk by Mark Nelson. Dusty Robinson then smacked a double to left, scoring Nelson, and giving Schaumburg a four run advantage.
