
Bulls Rally for Overtime Victory, Remain Perfect

MOLINE, IL: The Birmingham Bulls had fallen 5-0 in the Second Period tonight against the Quad City Storm until Garrett Schmitz got them on the board with the first of 6 unanswered goals.
Jacob Barber scored a goal with just over 9 minutes left in the Third Period, a goal that rallied the Bulls to stage the largest comeback in franchise history. A pair of goals from Justin Larson and a goal from Garrett Schmitz sent the game into overtime.
Justin Larson tapped in the game winning shot with 3:23 left in the Overtime Period that secured the victory for the Bulls and completed his hat trick for the evening.
The Birmingham Bulls improve to 5-0-0 on the season and remain the only unbeaten team in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) standings.
