
Bullpen Closes out Game for Sugar Land in 5-3 Win over Camden

On Tuesday, Sugar Land won 5-3 over the Camden Riversharks in game two of their three-game series. After trailing 1-0 after one, the Skeeters scored three in the top of the second on a two-run homer by Russ Mitchell and a RBI single by Dominic Ramos to take a 3-1 lead. The Riversharks put up a pair of runs in the bottom of the fifth to cut it to one, at 4-3. Sugar Land then responded by adding an insurance run in the sixth on a Kevin Rios double to make it 5-3, which would be the final. The Skeeters bullpen retired the last 11 straight batters to end the game.
Up Next: On Wednesday the final game of the series, the Skeeters send out RHP Clint Everts (4-2, 2.02) vs. RHP Aaron Tullo (NR) for Camden in an early 11am game EST.
