Camden Riversharks News Release
CAMDEN, N.J. - The Camden Riversharks have announced that another regular season game has been added to the schedule for September 7.
The Riversharks were already scheduled to play the Somerset Patriots in an evening matchup beginning at 5:35pm on September 7 and have added a seven-inning game to begin at noon on the same day.
The seven-inning game was added as a make-up game after its originally scheduled July 28 date was postponed due to rain.
The regularly scheduled game at 5:35pm will remain a nine inning contest.
The make-up game will mark the first time this season that the Riversharks will play a non-evening Saturday game at Campbell's Field this season. Fans will still be able to take advantage of much of the regularly scheduled Saturday festivities, including Kids Run the Bases after the game.
General admission tickets for the game at noon will cost $7.00 and fans will be able to purchase hot dogs at a special $1.00 price during the game.
"We are so excited that we found a date and time that works for both Somerset's and our team's schedule," said Adam Lorber, General Manager and President of the Camden Riversharks. "This is an interesting opportunity for fans who want to catch a ballgame on a Saturday afternoon instead of the evening."
