It wasn't until a Mitchell Ghelfi (UW-Milwaukee) solo home run in the 11thinning that either the Bullfrogs or the Lakeshore Chinooks held a lead at Kapco Park in Mequon.

Ghelfi's solo shot propelled the Bullfrogs to a 1-0 win in 11 innings on Friday night.

The Bullfrogs were held hitless through the first eight innings. With one out in the eighth, Ghelfi legged out an infield single to the left side to break up the Chinooks' combined no hitter.

Both teams managed just three hits each for the entire game.

The winning pitcher was Kevin Nutley (St. Norbert). Johnathon Tripp (Texas Tech) recorded the save for Green Bay. Brian Trieglaff (TCU) tossed five scoreless innings to start the game, and Austin Franzen (Toledo) also chipped in with a scoreless inning in a relief appearance.

The Bullfrogs' return home on Saturday to begin a five game home stand. Saturday's game is Sudsy Saturday presented by Bud Light and 107.5 The Fan! We will also be continuing our magnet schedule giveaway. All fans in attendance will receive a free magnet schedule presented by Zero in Wisconsin.
