Madison, Wis. - The Green Bay Bullfrogs begin one of their long stretches of road games of the 2014 season on Saturday in Madison. Over the next eight days, the Bullfrogs (26-29, 9-11 Sec. Half) will play nine games, with eight of those games coming on the road, beginning with two games in Madison against the Mallards (30-26, 12-11 Sec. Half) on Saturday and Sunday.

The last time out, Green Bay completed the series sweep of La Crosse with a 10-8 victory over the Loggers on Friday night at Joannes Stadium. After La Crosse tied the game at eight in the fourth inning, Green Bay scored twice in seventh inning to take back the lead. Matt Beaty (Belmont) hit into a fielder's choice that put the go-ahead run across the plate for Green Bay. Dean Long (Emporia State) and Daniel Jackson (Long Beach State) each had three hits for the Bullfrogs on Friday.

Zac Westcott (Nova Southeastern) will start the long stretch of road games on the mound for the Bullfrogs on Saturday. The six-foot-one right-hander will be making just his second appearance with the Bullfrogs this season. His first start came against the Lakeshore Chinooks on July 17th when he earned a no decision after throwing seven innings of five-hit baseball, surrendering only one run to the Chinooks.

Madison will turn to All-Star Sterling Sharp (Eastern Michigan) on Saturday. Sharp will be making his tenth start of the season and has accumulated a 3-6 record with a 3.95 ERA in 41 innings of work. His last start also came on July 17th when he took the loss against Willmar. In that start, Sharp threw four innings and gave up six runs (five earned) on seven hits to the Stingers. Sharp has struck out 32 batters this season while walking seventeen.

First pitch on Saturday night is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. from the "Duck Pond" at Warner Park in Madison, Wisconsin.
