Bulldogs wrap up season this week

Hamilton Bulldogs News Release
The Hamilton Bulldogs wrap up the 2005-06 season by playing three games in four nights. The Bulldogs begin the week on Wednesday when they host the Cleveland Barons (26-46-2-3) at 7:30 p.m. Hamilton then plays a home-and-home series against the Toronto Marlies (40-28-6-3). The teams meet in Toronto at Ricoh Coliseum on Saturday (7:30 p.m.) and then face-off in Hamilton on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. in the Bulldogs' final game of the season.

Player Notes
- LW Peter Vandermeer surpassed 2000 career AHL penalty minutes when he recorded 37 penalty minutes in the Bulldogs' 5-2 loss to the Syracuse Crunch on Friday night. Vandermeer now ranks sixth all-time with 2014 penalty minutes in 445 career AHL games.
- D Andre Benoit posted 1g-1a in the Bulldogs' 4-3 victory over the Manitoba Moose on Sunday, April 9. It was his first multipoint game since January 20.
- LW Pierre Dagenais ended a five-game pointless streak when he earned two assists against the Moose.
- RW Duncan Milroy had his three-game point streak (2g-1a) snapped against Manitoba.

- Bruins RW Mariusz Czerkawski scored as Boston fell 4-3 in overtime to the New York Rangers.
- Maple Leafs LW Chad Kilger scored as Toronto defeated the Philadelphia Flyers 5-2.
- Mighty Ducks D Francois Beauchemin collected an assist in Anaheim's 4-2 victory over the Los Angeles Kings.
- Thrashers D Greg De Vries posted two assists as Atlanta defeated the Carolina Hurricanes 5-2.
- Stars RW Antti Miettinen earned an assist in Dallas' 3-2 shootout victory over the Phoenix Coyotes.
