Milwaukee Admirals News Release

Milwaukee, WI- Milwaukee Admirals President Jon Greenberg announced today that the team will begin the 2006 Calder Cup Playoffs with home games on Friday, April 21st and Saturday, April 22nd. Both games will begin at 7:00 pm, while the opponent for these games is still to be determined.

Tickets for the first two playoff games will go on sale on Wednesday, April 12th at 9:00 am. Fans can purchase them by calling Ticketmaster at (414) 276-4545 or by logging onto www.ticketmaster.com. Ticket prices are $16, $18, and $20 for adults and $11 for kids 14 and under. Per American Hockey League rules, ticket prices for the games must increase by one dollar over the regular season.

In addition, groups of ten or more people receive at least $2 off per ticket depending on the size of the group. Fans can order group tickets by contacting the Admirals office at (414) 227-0550.

Fans interested in purchasing a ticket package for all potential post-season games can also do so by calling the Admirals office. Packages start at $220 and include the same ticket for each game as well as a discount of over $2 per ticket. If the Admirals do not play in all their potential home play-off games the money that was paid for those contests is refunded.

Milwaukee is currently in first place in the West Division with 104 points, four ahead of the Houston Aeros. If the playoffs were to start today the Admirals would play the Iowa Stars, currently in fourth place in the division, in a first round, best-of-seven series. The Ads, who have clinched home ice in the first round of the playoffs, still have two regular season games to play: this Friday, April 14th versus the Chicago Wolves at 7:00 pm at the Bradley Center and then on Saturday, April 15th, at the Grand Rapids Griffins.

Tickets for the regular season finale with the Wolves are just $2 for seats in the 400 level and all proceeds from the tickets will go to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. In addition, $2 from each 200 level seat will also be donated to Children's. To purchase tickets fans can call Ticketmaster at (414) 276-4545 or log on to www.ticketmaster.com.
