CRUNCH BREAK POINT MARKER: With the Crunch's 5-2 win over Hamilton on Friday, April 7, Syracuse set a franchise record for points in a season, surpassing the old mark of 96 points set during the 2001-02 season. The Crunch enter the last week of the season with 98 points.

RACE FOR HOME ICE: With one week remaining in the regular season, Syracuse and Manitoba are deadlocked for second place in the North Division with 98 points. Syracuse has two games in hand on Manitoba with four games remaining (Rochester - 2, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton - 1 and Toronto - 1). Manitoba has two games remaining in the regular season, both at home against Cleveland.

2006 CALDER CUP PLAYOFF TICKETS ON SALE: The Syracuse Crunch announced that tickets for Games "A" and "B" of the 2006 Calder Cup Playoffs North Division Semifinals will go on sale Monday, April 3 at 10 a.m. Opponent, game dates and times will be announced at a later date.

Tickets that are labeled Game A are to be used for Game One. Tickets labeled Game B are to be used for Game Two. Tickets prices are $16, $14 and $12. (Day of game ticket prices are $17, $15 and $13).

THIS WEEK'S OPPONENTS:

WILKES-BARRE/SCRANTON (PITTSBURGH PENGUINS): Syracuse hosts Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Wednesday, April 12 for the eighth and final regular season game. The Penguins lead the series 4-3-0-0, despite being shutout by Syracuse 5-0 on March 8 at Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza. Matt Hussey leads all players in head-to-head scoring with nine points (4g, 5a). Four Crunch players have six points in head-to-head scoring. Goaltender Andrew Penner has appeared in three games for Syracuse, posting a 1-1-0 record, a 3.92 goals against average and .862 save percentage. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton goaltender Dany Sabourin has appeared in four games for the Penguins posting a 2-2-0 record, 3.26 goals against average and .891 save percentage against Syracuse. Lifetime, the Crunch are 32-22-7 against the Penguins.

ROCHESTER (BUFFALO SABRES/FLORIDA PANTHERS): Syracuse and Rochester play a home and home series on Friday, April 14 at Blue Cross Arena and Saturday, April 15 at the War Memorial at Oncenter for the eleventh and twelfth regular season game. The Crunch lead the series 5-4-0-1, despite dropping a 3-2 shootout decision to the Amerks on April 1 at the War Memorial at Oncenter. Center Geoff Platt leads all players in head-to-head scoring with 11 points (5g, 6a). Clark MacArthur (3g, 7a) leads the Amerks in head-to-head scoring with 10 points. Goaltender Andrew Penner has appeared in five games for Syracuse, posting a 2-2-0 record, a 3.83 goals against average and .884 save percentage. Rochester goaltender Michael Leighton has posted a 1-5-0 record, 4.40 goals against average and .839 save percentage against Syracuse. Lifetime, the Crunch are 48-62-14 against the Amerks.

TORONTO (TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS): Syracuse travels to Toronto on Sunday, April 16 for the final of eight regular season games. Syracuse has a 3-3-1-0 record against Toronto in the series, despite losing 5-4 in overtime on April 9 at Ricoh Coliseum. Center John Pohl leads all players in head-to-head scoring with 11 points (5g, 6a). Center Geoff Platt (7g, 1a) and right wing Joe Motzko (1g, 7a) lead all Syracuse players in head-to-head scoring with eight points. Goaltender Andrew Penner has appeared in four games for Syracuse, posting a 2-2-0 record, 2.94 goals against average and ..893 save percentage. Toronto goaltender Jean-Sebastien Aubin has posted a 3-1-1 record, a 1.98 goals against average and .939 save percentage against Syracuse. Lifetime, the Crunch are 3-3-1-0 against the Marlies.

Crunch Game-Worn Jersey Auction: The Crunch's 2005-06 game-worn jersey auction is currently ongoing.

Available for the auction this year are the teams' home jerseys (white color), road jerseys (blue color), third jerseys (red color), theme jerseys, St. Patrick's Day jerseys and warm-up jerseys. All of the available Crunch jerseys can be viewed on the Crunch's official website (www.syracusecrunch.com) beginning Friday, March 17

Fans can bid on Syracuse's 2005-06 game-worn jerseys at remaining Crunch home games or on the Crunch's official website www.syracusecrunch.com/shop/jersey_auction_new.cfm.

Bids must be made in $20 increments (for example - if current bid is $500, bids of $520, $540, $560, etc... will be accepted).

All winning bids will be notified within 48 hours of the conclusion of the auction. The auction will conclude Wednesday, May 3 at 5 p.m.

Winners are responsible for shipping and handling costs. Jerseys are not autographed.

Fuccillo Hyundai Team Photo Night at the Crunch Set for Saturday, April 15: The Syracuse Crunch announced that their last regular season home game on Saturday, April 15, when they host the Rochester Americans, will be Fuccillo Hyundai Team Photo Night at the Crunch.

All fans in attendance will receive a 2005-06 Syracuse Crunch team photo, compliments of Fuccillo Automotive Group and Hyundai.

CRUNCHABLES: Toronto's 14 power play opportunities on Sunday were the second most against the Crunch this season. On October 12 @ Toronto, Syracuse had to kill off 15 Marlies man advantages... Defenseman Jekabs Redlihs made his professional debut on Friday, April 7 vs. Hamilton... On Friday, April 7, the Crunch set season highs for most PIM's against in a game (96), most PIM's for in a game (91) and most PIM's for both teams in a game (187)...
