
Bulldogs Sign Myles Harvey to PTO

MONTREAL, QUEBEC - Montreal Canadiens and Hamilton Bulldogs General Manager Marc Bergevin announced today the Bulldogs have signed defenceman Myles Harvey to a professional try out contract.
Harvey has split this season, his first as a professional, between the ECHL's Orlando Solar Bears and Wheeling Nailers. In one game with Orlando, the Orlando, Florida native recorded no points and five penalty minutes. In 22 games with Wheeling since being acquired in a trade with Orlando on November 29th, the 6'5", 225-pound defenceman has recorded five points (three goals, two assists) and 14 penalty minutes.
Before turning pro this season, the 25-year-old played four seasons in the National Collegiate Athletic Association with the Providence College Friars. In 124 career regular season games with Providence, the undrafted defenceman recorded 32 points (eight goals, 24 assists) and 118 penalty minutes.
Hamilton's next game is scheduled for Friday, January 31st, when the 'Dogs will travel to Abbotsford, British Columbia to take on the Abbotsford Heat (AHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames) at 10:00 p.m. at Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre. The Bulldogs will return to Copps Coliseum on Saturday, February 15th when they will host the Texas Stars (AHL affiliate of the Dallas Stars) at 7:00 p.m.
