
Bulldogs Sign Jonathan Narbonne to Try Out

MONTREAL, QUEBEC - Montreal Canadiens and Hamilton Bulldogs General Manager Marc Bergevin announced today the Bulldogs have signed defenceman Jonathan Narbonne to a try out agreement.
In 58 games with the ECHL's Gwinnett Gladiators this season, Narbonne has recorded 18 points (two goals, 16 assists) and 24 penalty minutes.
Before turning professional this season, the 6'0", 183-pound defenceman played four seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League from 2009-2013 with the Montreal Juniors, Blainville-Boisbriand Armada, Shawinigan Cataractes and Moncton Wildcats. In 229 career QMJHL regular season games, the 21-year-old recorded 104 points (23 goals, 81 assists) and 145 penalty minutes. The Laval, Quebec native earned a Canadian Hockey League Memorial Cup championship in 2012 with the Cataractes.
Hamilton's next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8th, when the 'Dogs will visit the St. John's IceCaps (AHL affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets) at Mile One Centre in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador at 6:00 p.m. The Bulldogs return to FirstOntario Centre on Saturday, April 12th when they will host the Rochester Americans (AHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres) at 7:00 p.m.
