
Bulldogs Head into Christmas Break with Win

The Hamilton Bulldogs headed into the Christmas break on a winning note as they defeated the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks (AHL affiliate of Mighty Ducks of Anaheim) 4-1 at Copps Coliseum on Saturday night.
The win extended the Bulldogs unbeaten streak to 10 games, which is now a new franchise record.
Hamilton's record now improves to 24 wins, 6 losses, 3 ties, and 2 overtime losses. The Bulldogs continue to lead the AHL and have 53 points on the season.
Scoring for Hamilton on Saturday were Jason Ward (2), Jani Rita and Michael Ryder. Cincinnati's lone goal came from Travis Brigley.
Mathieu Garon was strong in goal for Hamilton making 28 saves. Cincinnati netminder J.F. Damphousse stopped 41 of 45 shots on the night.
