Columbus Returns Pascal Leclaire to Syracuse

Syracuse, NY (December 21, 2002) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have returned goaltender Pascal Leclaire to Syracuse.

Leclaire, 20, has appeared in 16 games for the Crunch this season, posting a 4-9-1 record with a 3.95 goals against average and a .884 save percentage. He has not appeared in a regular season game with Columbus during his two separate recalls this season, serving as a back up to Marc Denis for three games. A native of Repentigny, Quebec, Leclaire was Columbus' first pick, 8th overall, in the 2001 Entry Draft.

Syracuse returns to action tonight when they host the Springfield Falcons in their only War Memorial at Oncenter appearance this season.
