Buffalo, NY - Eric Crozier went 3-for-3 with two home runs and paced the Buffalo Bisons' long ball assault on the Louisville Bats, as the Bisons won, 8-5.

Buffalo belted six home runs in the game and improved their record to 16-23 on the season.

Crozier hit his sixth and seventh homers of the year and Jhonny Peralta, Russell Branyan, Ernie Young and Todd Dunwoody added round trippers for the Bisons.

Robert Ellis was the benefactor of the offense. The righty pitched well in six innings of work, allowing four runs on six hits. He fanned seven and walked two.

Seth Etherton suffered the loss. Etherton (0-1) was touched for six runs, five earned, on seven hits in five innings and gave up four of Buffalo's six homers.

Jim Chamblee went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI for the Bats.

The final game of the series is slated for Thursday at 1:05 PM (ET).
