The Waterloo Bucks (7-14) were swept by the Eau Claire Express (8-14) on Wednesday night by a 4-3 final score.
Deion Thompson went 2-4 on the evening with an RBI double and a run scored. Jeff Deimling drove in Thompson in the first following the latter's double on an RBI single. The Bucks' third run of the game came in the 5th when Skyler Messinger scored on a wild pitch.
Matt Whalen threw another stellar outing for the Bucks, allowing just one earned run on 4 hits and 2 walks over 5.0 innings. Christian Griffin provided Waterloo with a scoreless frame of relief, striking out a pair.
