Waterloo Bucks News Release
Waterloo, IA - Waterloo Bucks players and members of the Bucks front office staff have accepted the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS Awareness and will do so on Friday, August 7 at 3:00 pm outside of the main gates at Riverfront Stadium.
Members of the Bucks and the front office will have the bucket of water dumped on them around 3:00 pm and a donation to ALS will be made by the Bucks staff and players as a group.
The Bucks accepted the challenge put forth by the ALS Association Iowa Chapter and the Cedar Rapids Kernels, and, in turn, would like to challenge employees of the Cedar Valley SportsPlex, the Mankato MoonDogs, and the Waterloo Black Hawks.
The purpose of the challenge is to accept the challenge and pour a bucket of ice water over your head, make a donation to ALS or both. Donations can be made by visiting the ALS website at www.als.org.
