Dustin Traylen will start in net tonight for the Bucks. On the season Traylen is 11-6-1, with a 2.27 goals against average, and a .918 save percentage, to go along with three shutouts. Traylen is 1-0 against Austin this season.
Austin comes into tonight having lost four straight games, and six out of their last seven. In last night's loss to the Bucks Kurtis Kisio and Mike Bartlett tallied goals for the Ice Bats.
The Ice Bats are led in scoring by Jaimie Thompson (9-9=18), Jason Tessier (8-10=18), Brendan Cook (7-11=18), who each have 18 points.
Miguel Beaudry is 4-12 with a 3.83 goals against average, and a .893 save percentage in the Ice Bats net this season.
The race for the Southern Conference head coaching position comes down to the next two days. The team's coach with the best winning percentage after tomorrow's games will coach the Southern Conference All-Stars next month. Going into tonight Terry Ruskowski's Bucks trail Marco Pietroniro's Arizona Sundogs, by a .740 to .714 mark. In order for Ruskowski to coach in the all-star game the Bucks must win tonight, and the Sundogs must lose in regulation tomorrow to Rio Grande Valley.
Family four pack tickets are available for tonight's game for $48. The Family four pack includes four tickets, four hot dogs, and four sodas.
The Bucks will wear specialty Christmas Jersey's that will be auctioned off after the game tonight.
There will also be a special surprise on-ice entertainer to perform during both intermissions tonight.
