Last night the Bucks fell in overtime to Bossier 4-3, but gained a point to pull with-in five points of the Texas Brahmas in the Southeast Division.

The Bucks biggest crowd of the season (6,500) saw Laredo lose with just 1:14 left in overtime last night, when Brett Smith knocked one past Sebastien Centomo.

Jeff Bes picked up an assist last night to move him to 498 career CHL points, just two away from 500. Bes now has 894 points in his 17-year professional career, just six shy from 900.

This season Bes is currently third in the CHL in scoring with 48 points (11-37-48), while All-Star Darryl Smith continues to lead all rookies in scoring with 40 points (20-20=40).

Laredo has not lost to Corpus Christi in regulation so far this season, posting a 3-0-1 mark against the Ice Rays.

Corpus lost their second straight game last night, a 4-2 road set back in Rio Grande Valley. The last-place Ice Rays have lost four of their last five games.

Chris Richards continues to lead the Ice Rays in scoring, with 44 points (18-26=44).

Richards now ranks in the Top 10 in CHL History in the four main offensive categories (games, goals, assists, points).

After tonight's game the Bucks will be off for the All-Star break, and will return to action next Friday (Jan 16) with a re-match against the Ice Rays in Corpus Christi.
