Laredo Bucks News Release
LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League were once again out in the community in full force last week. Here is a list of where Bucks coaches, players, front office staff, and Bucky were last week, and where they are going this week. Look for the weekly Bucks community update on www.laredobucks.com.
Last Thursday (Oct. 9th) Head Coach and General Manager Terry Ruskowski was the guest speaker at the Noon Optimist Club. Coach Rosco spoke to the club at the Holiday Inn about the outlook for this season, and how the team is involved in the community.
On Wednesday of this week (Oct 15th) JC Martin Elementary will be at the LEC to watch the Bucks practice. The students will have the chance to meet some of the Bucks players, and watch as the team prepares for their season opener on Friday.
Below is a list of the events the Bucks organization attended last week, and will attend this week.

Monday, October 6th: Director of Public Relations Nicole Kupaks attended the Gateway Rotary Meeting, at Embassy Suites.
Tuesday, October 7th: Director of Ticket Sales Rory Brady attended the Veteran's Meeting, at the American Legion Post 59.
Wednesday, October 8th: Director of Media Relations and Broadcasting Bryan Benway was a guest on 98.1-FM, and Z-93-FM.
Wednesday, October 8th: Account Executive Justin Farris attended the Laredo Rotary meeting, at the Holiday Inn.
Wednesday, October 8th: President John Beckelhymer, and Front Office Members JR Rathbun, Nicole Kupaks, Rory Brady attended the Business of the Month Celebration for KGNS, 120 W. Del Mar Blvd.
Wednesday, October 8th: Account Executive Kyle Reynolds attended the Laredo Next-Generation Rotary Meeting, at Hal's Landing.

Wednesday, October 15th: JC Martin Elementary will attend the practice session of the Laredo Bucks, at the LEC, at 9:45am.

Wednesday, October 15th: The Laredo Bucks will be holding National Anthem Auditions, at the Star Bar inside the LEC, from 6pm-8pm.
Wednesday, October 15th: Front Office Members JR Rathbun and Rory Brady will attend the Ribbon Cutting Celebration for Legend Title and Abstract, 6999 McPherson Rd. Ste #102, at 6:30pm.
Wednesday, October 15th: Account Executive Kyle Reynolds will attend the Laredo Next-Generation Rotary Meeting, at Hal's Landing, at 7pm.
Thursday, October 16th: Front Office Members Nicole Kupaks, JR Rathbun, Rory Brady will attend the Ribbon Cutting Celebration for Chick-Fil-A, at 1916 Bob Bullock, at 9am.
Friday, October 17th: Nicole Kupaks and JR Rathbun will attend the Ribbon Cutting Celebration for Red Roof Inn, at Zapata Highway, at noon.
Sunday, October 19th: The Laredo Bucks Players and Front Office Staff will be Participating in the Trophy Hunters Bowling Tournament, at Jett Bowl, at noon.
Since 2001 the Laredo Bucks take pride that they have been heavily involved in the Laredo community. The Bucks front office, coaching staff, players and Bucky have appeared at over 400 events in 2008, and look forward to many more.

The Bucks will open their seventh CHL season at the LEC on October 17th against the Rocky Mountain Rage.
