Three unanswered goals by the Green Bay Gamblers lifted them to a 5-2 victory over the Buccaneers; including 2 goals in the last minute of the game to put away the Bucs in front of a sell-out crowd of 3,511.
After a 2-2 deadlock midway through the second, Green Bay was able to score 3 in a row for the win. The Bucs tied the game at 1-1 with a goal from Mike Fink, his first as a Buccaneer.
After the second Green Bay goal, Ryan Walters scored his 15th of the year to make it 2-2 halfway through the second. But it was not enough as Green Bay scored another one in the second and 2 more in the third to pull away.
Michael Houser took the lose in net, stopping 41 of 46 shots.
