March 1, 2005 - arenafootball2 (af2)
Bakersfield Blitz News Release

Bakersfield, Calif. - Bakersfield Sports Entertainment, operators of the Condors in the ECHL and the Blitz in the af2, have introduced brand new websites for both teams, courtesy of ISW/D. The Condors will have a new Spanish version of their website and the Blitz has new English and Spanish versions of their site, with all three going live today.

Fans logging on to www.bakersfieldblitz.com will get a new look at the site and can read about team news and events, new player signings (the roster is up to 12 players right now) and sign up for e-mail alerts. Fans can also reserve their season tickets for the 2005 season online. The site features a new layout with a fan poll, links to www.af2.com, a photo of the week and the complete home schedule. Standings for the West Division will also be updated each week and there's a link to the Blitz online team store.

The Spanish version of both sites can be found by typing in the regular URL and adding 'espanol' to the end of it. Log on at www.bakersfieldcondors.comespanol and www. bakersfieldblitz.comespanol to see the teams' Spanish versions. The Condors Spanish version is the first of its kind in the ECHL.

"Our new bilingual websites are a no-brainer for us here in the Valley," said BSE President Matthew Riley. "They enable us to reach out to just about everyone here in Kern County and is a step towards the future with our expanding community. IWS/D has done a fantastic job in putting together both versions as well as the regular Condors and Blitz sites and we look forward to continuing with them for our website needs."
