Bruins Sign Two

The Chilliwack Bruins are pleased to announce the signing of forwards Clay Spencer and Luke Harrison to standard WHL education contracts. With the signings the Bruins have now signed their top three selections from the 2010 WHL Bantam Draft, with defenseman Keegan Kanzig the Bruins first round selection having signed with the Bruins in June.

Clay Spencer was the Bruins second round selection, 29th overall. In 33 games last season with Lethbridge of the Alberta Bantam Hockey League, the six foot, 160 pound center scored 30 goals and 36 assists.

Luke Harrison was selected by the Bruins in the third round, with the 51st overall selection. Harrison, a six foot 175 pound forward spent last season with the Westside Bantam Tier 2 team.

"We're really pleased to have these two players join our organization," said Bruins General Manager and Head Coach Marc Habscheid. "They performed well throughout camp and we look forward to seeing them improve throughout the coming season."
