
Browne leads Montreal to fifth straight win

Montreal, Canada. The ABA Montreal Matrix defeated the Baltimore Pearls for the second time this weekend winning by a score of 112-100. Led by Shawn Browne's 27 points and 12 rebounds, the Matrix led throughout the second half. ABA All-Star Manix added 26 pionts and 7 assists. It was the fifth consecutive win for nevio Marzinotto's squard. "We're on a roll," said Matrix center Pascal Fleury. "This is good for Montreal."
Montreal, now second in the Roger Brown Division, owns a 14-12 record and his positioning itself well for the upcoming playoffs in March. The Matrix will play their next game at the Pierre-Charbonneau Center next Friday at 7pm hosting the powerful Rochester RazorSharks.
