
Broncos Sign Forward Ian Briscoe to WHL Standard Player Agreement

Swift Current, SK: The Swift Current Broncos made a move to boost their depth up front as the club signed 19-year-old forward Ian Briscoe to a WHL Standard Player Agreement.
A native of Winnipeg, MB, Briscoe played in both the Western Hockey League and Manitoba Junior Hockey League last season, splitting time with the Seattle Thunderbirds and Dauphin Kings. The 5'10", 172 lb forward recorded three assists in 25 contests for the T-Birds while registering 15 points (6g-9a) in 17 games for the Kings.
Briscoe was originally selected by the T-Birds in the fifth round, 104th overall in the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft and has skated in 45 career regular season WHL games, all while with Seattle.
Swift Current returns to game action on Friday, November 9th when they take on the Prince Albert Raiders on the road at the Art Hauser Centre. Puck drop is set for 7:00pm.
