Laredo - The Laredo Broncos scored single runs in the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth innings tonight to beat the Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings 7-6 tonight at Veterans Field.

The Broncos (17-30) got on the board against Sendy Vasquez (1-4) in the second. Argelis Nunez drew a leadoff four-pitch walk and moved to second on a single by Luany Sanchez. One out later, Robert Moron hit a grounder to short that Joaquin Rodriguez couldn't handle, allowing Nunez to score to make it 1-0.

In the third, Luis Ugueto drew a one-out four-pitch walk, stole second and scored on a single by David Cardona to make it 2-0.

In the fourth, Andres Santos led off with his third home run of the season to make it 3-0.

In the fifth, Mario Mendez hit a leadoff single, stole second and scored on a single by Nunez to make it 4-0.

The WhiteWings (22-25) got to back in the top of the sixth against Gregorio Martinez (3-3). Rodriguez led off with a single, Santana hit an RBI-double and Brian Nichols hit an RBI-single to make it 4-2.

In the bottom of the sixth against Juan Jimenez, Jamie Morales led off with a single, stole second, moved to third on a passed ball and scored on a double by Ugueto to make it 5-2.

Nunez led off the seventh with a walk, moved to second on a single by Luany Sanchez and scored on a single by Santos to make it 6-2.

The WhiteWings got one back in the eighth against Jason Herman. With two outs, Casey Allen walked. Angel Reyes and Juan Cabrera followed with singles to get Allen home, making it 6-3.

The Broncos got that run right back in the bottom of the inning when Nunez hit his ninth home run of the season to make it 7-3.

Joaquin Rodriguez hit his fourth home run of the season with one out in the ninth and Welinson Baez hit a two-run shot later in the inning, his second of the season, against Fernando Rijo to complete the scoring.

The WhiteWings Broncos play game four of this four-game series tomorrow night at 7:35. Right-hander Juan Peralta (1-2) is expected to face right-handed pitcher Luis Arroyo (1-5)
