Broncos Assign Billy Sowa to AJHL Sherwood Park

SWIFT CURRENT, SK - The Swift Current Broncos announced today defenceman Billy Sowa has been reassigned to the Sherwood Park Crusaders of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. He will remain on the Broncos 50-man protected list and can be recalled at any time.

Sowa, from Calgary, is in his second year with the Broncos appearing in 15 games this season.

Last year Sowa played in 53 games, scoring twice and adding seven assists.

The Broncos are on the road to Edmonton today for their final road trip before the Christmas break. They play the Oil Kings Wednesday and Friday before finishing the pre-Christmas portion of their schedule in Red Deer on Saturday.
