
Broncos Acquire Kieper from Blazers

Swift Current, Sask. - The Swift Current Broncos announced today that they have acquired 2004-born goalie Matthew Kieper from the Kamloops Blazers for a 2024 third-round WHL Draft Pick, and a 2026 ninth-round WHL Draft Pick.
Kieper (6'2"/195lbs), out of Winnipeg, Man., has played in 68 career WHL games across five seasons with the Regina Pats, and most recently the Kamloops Blazers. He sports a 33-23-3 record and has two shutouts to his credit. Last season with the Blazers, Kieper was 9-1-0-0 with a 2.96 goals-against-average, and a .906 save percentage with one shutout.
Most recently, Kieper has been playing for the Canmore Eagles of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL).
Kieper is a former third-round pick (63rd Overall), by the Pats in 2019.
