
Broncos Acquire Kaden Elder

SWIFT CURRENT SK - The Swift Current Broncos and Seattle Thunderbirds swapped 1998 born forwards Tuesday morning.
The Broncos sent forward Owen Seidel and a 2016 fifth round WHL Bantam Draft pick to Seattle in exchange for forward Kaden Elder.
Seidel, a native of Richmond BC, is still looking for his first WHL point in his rookie season. He has suited up for 7 games with the Broncos. The Broncos selected the 6' 189 pound forward in the 7th round of the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft.
Kaden Elder is a 5'10 172 pound forward from Saskatoon. The T-Birds selected him with their first round WHL Bantam Draft pick in 2013. Elder has 2 goals in 14 games this season. Elder saw limited action last season as a 16 year old in Seattle. Prior to that he was a point a game player for the Notre Dame Hounds of the SMAAAHL with 38 points in 38 games. The 1998 born forward is draft eligible this year.
"He's a skill guy who competes hard. He'll be an asset to our lineup now and into the future" said Broncos general manager Mark Lamb of Elder.
The Broncos are currently on the bus to Portland for game one of their US division road trip. The Broncos play the Winter Hawks Friday night. Elder and Seidel will face their former teams next Tuesday in Seattle.
