
Broncos Acquire Justin Svenson from Winnipeg

SWIFT CURRENT, SK - The Swift Current Broncos announced today they have acquired 2001-born forward Justin Svenson from the Winnipeg ICE in exchange for a conditional ninth-round pick in 2021.
Svenson, from Ile-des-Chenes, Manitoba, is currently playing with the Winkler Flyers of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League. In 15 games this season he has recorded four goals and 14 assists.
The 6'0'' forward also spent part of last season in the MJHL, recording 11 points in 15 games with the Swan Valley Stampeders.
Originally the 48th overall selection in the 2016 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft, Svenson has appeared in 19 career WHL games with the Red Deer Rebels.
He was drafted after posting 36 goals and 46 assists in just 31 games with the Eastman Selects bantam team in Beausejour, Manitoba.
