JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Miami Marlins announced a series of transactions that impacts their Double-A affiliate Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp roster prior to tonight's game against the Biloxi Shuckers at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville at 7:05 p.m.

Right-handed pitcher Jeff Brigham has been transferred from Jacksonville to Triple-A New Orleans. Brigham made seven starts for Jacksonville, going 4-1 with a 1.18 ERA (five earned runs in 38 innings) with nine walks and 41 strikeouts. This is the first call-up to the Triple-A level in his career.

In a corresponding move, left-handed relief pitcher Scott Squier has been transferred from High-A Jupiter to Jacksonville. Squier has pitched in seven games in relief for the Hammerheads, going 1-0 with a spotless ERA in his nine innings of work. He also pitched in one game, working two and a third scoreless innings for Triple-A New Orleans on July 8. Squier was selected by the Marlins in the 16th round of the 2014 draft out of the University of Hawaii.

Additionally, outfielder Brian Miller has been transferred from Jacksonville's active roster to the temporary inactive list to attend a wedding. Miller is hitting .321 with no home runs and seven runs batted in during his 21 games played for Jacksonville.

In a corresponding move, outfielder Braxton Lee has been transferred from Triple-A New Orleans to Jacksonville. Lee was hitting .202 with no home runs and six runs batted in for the Baby Cakes in 25 games played. Lee previously played for Jacksonville from June 15-17, hitting .167 (2-for-12) in his three games this season for the Jumbo Shrimp.

The Jumbo Shrimp will continue their series with Biloxi at 7:05 p.m. Friday, when Jacksonville right-hander Max Duval (2-8) is scheduled to face Shuckers right-hander Thomas Jankins (8-5). Fans may visit any participating NAPA AutoCare Center to get a FREE general admission ticket (reserved seat upgrade available at the box office) for the games that will be followed by NAPA AutoCare Family Fireworks. The Jumbo Shrimp wear red "Bold City: jerseys to support the military on Red Shirt Friday, when fans who wear red can save $1 per ticket at the box office or donate the $1 to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. Friday Night Lites Miller Lite Happy Hour offers $1 12-oz. Miller Lite and $1 off craft beer specials in the Craft Cave by the third-base gates until 7:30 p.m. For National French Fry Day, Build Your Own Fries at the All-American Jax and Southern Fried concession stands.
