
Brigade joins Chiefs great Deron Cherry for holiday lighting at The Legends

Kansas City, Mo. (Nov. 14) - The Legends at Village West is set for its first holiday celebration and the Brigade will be a part of it. Schlagle H.S. star Sam Simmons and teammates Clay Rush and Raymond Philyaw will be joined by the Brigade Girls to help kickoff the holiday season on Saturday, November 18 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Chiefs Hall of Fame defensive back Deron Cherry will flip the switch at 7:30 p.m. to illuminate The Legends' holiday tree and lights.
The celebration begins at 6:30 as the Brigade players and dancers will sign autographs by the adidas store. Cherry will sign autographs near SportsNutz and street performers will stroll throughout the center entertaining children of all ages. Clowns, jugglers, magicians and stilt walkers will add to the festivities as Paula McLaughlin and the City Limit Band perform favorite holiday songs from the center courtyard stage before and after the ceremony.
