
VooDoo add two to roster

New Orleans VooDoo News Release
The New Orleans VooDoo have announced the addition to two players to their roster for the 2007 season. The club has signed OL Matt Miller and agreed to terms with FB James Lynch.
Lynch (5-11, 276, Maryland) comes to the VooDoo after spending parts of the 2003 and 2004 seasons in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Bengals and the Miami Dolphins. Lynch was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Vikings and was on the team roster for their season opener. Lynch then spent the remainder of his rookie year on the practice squad of the Bengals. In 2004, Lynch appeared on one game for the Bengals and then spent most of the season on the practice squad before being signed by the Dolphins for the final three games of the season. Lynch played at Maryland from 2000-02 and was their starting fullback for his final two seasons with the Terrapins.
Miller (6-4, 300, Louisiana College) went to training camp with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2004 and then spent the second half of the season on their practice squad. In 2005, He went to training camp with the Seattle Seahawks. Miller also participated in the 2006 post-draft rookie camp for the New Orleans Saints. He was a four-year starter at Louisiana College and was named to the Little All-America and All-America Southwest Conference first teams at right tackle. The Lafayette (La.) High School product appeared in 40 collegiate games for the Wildcats.
