February 8, 2006 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I)
Kansas City Brigade News Release

The Kansas City Brigade announced today that their inaugural home game is sold out. The Brigade will take on the Austin Wranglers this Sunday, at 1pm at Kemper Arena. Kemper holds 16,200 fans for arena football. Of the 16,200 tickets sold, nearly 8,750 are season ticket holders (54%). The Brigade will still offer season tickets (7-game package) and good seats are still available for the remaining games.

"Home field advantage is huge in arena football and we want Kemper Arena to be loud in their support of the Brigade," Owner Tyler Prochnow said. "The players are so excited to play in front of a packed house and in front of their hometown fans. We hope Sunday's game is just the beginning and Kansas City is a destination where no other team wants to travel."

The Kemper Arena parking lot will open at 9am and the doors will open 1½ hours prior to kickoff (11:30am). Tailgating will be allowed in your parking space only. Charcoal receptacles will be provided at the North and South ends of Kemper Arena. RV parking is limited to the gravel lots to the West of Kemper Arena.

The Metropolitan Lawn and Garden show will be in full bloom Sunday in the American Royal building, so fans attending the Kansas City Brigade game should plan on arriving a little early.
