
Braves & Smokies Rained Out

Mississippi Braves News Release
Pearl, MS - Wednesday afternoon's game between the Mississippi Braves and the Tennessee Smokies has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be played as part of a doubleheader Thursday evening.
The gates at Trustmark Park will open at 5:30 pm and game one of the doubleheader is scheduled to begin at 6:05 pm. The Braves and Smokies will play two seven inning games tomorrow.
Fans who had paid tickets for today's game can exchange their tickets for any game throughout the rest of the M-Braves 2009 regular season.
In game one Thursday evening, Mississippi's Johnny Venters (1-1, 1.16) will take on Tennessee's Casey Coleman (3-1, 2.74). Game two will see the Braves' Deunte Heath (1-0, 1.29) take on the Smokies' Jay Jackson (1-3, 6.64).
