
Brandon McMillan rejoins Rockets

Veteran Brandon McMillan will join the Kelowna Rockets in time for tonight's Western Hockey League game as the Rockets take on the Tri City Americans.
McMillan met the Rockets in Tri City after having a solid training camp with the Anaheim Ducks. The 19-year-old will play tonight in the Rockets second game of the WHL season.
This will be McMillan's fourth season with the Rockets. last year he recorded 49 points in 70 games, playing mostly as a defenceman. This year he will provide a boost to the Rockets forward unit.
The Rockets left Friday to Tri City to prepare for the game and will take to the ice at the Toyota Centre against the Americans tonight, a team they ousted in last year's playoffs.
Colin Long and Tyler Myers remain at NHL training camps.
The Rockets are coming off of a 6-5 overtime loss to Vancouver to open the WHL season on Thursday night.
It's the only game of the weekend for Kelowna.
