Brandon Buck Grand & Toy Player Of The Week

(GUELPH) The Guelph Storm announced today that overage forward Brandon Buck is the Grand & Toy Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, March 15th. 

Buck recorded four points in three games picking up two goals and two assists. On Wednesday night against the Rangers, the Delaware native helped his team defeat Kitchener setting up two goals on the way to a 6-2 victory. Buck was instrumental in the Storm's 6-5 comeback win on Friday night at home against the Otters scoring twice in the third. Held off the scoresheet on Sunday in Erie, Buck picked up two third star honours this weekend versus the Rangers and the Otters on Friday.

Brandon finished the season with 64 points, third on the team in scoring. The left winger tied Matt Kennedy for most assists (40) and led the team in short handed markers with two.

Next up, Buck and the rest of the Storm prepare for a Western Conference Quarter-final battle with the Saginaw Spirit. Traveling to Saginaw on Saturday night, the two teams return to Guelph on Sunday for a 7:00 pm start.
