Brahmas games now available on CHL Network

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (November 27)- Stuck at home this weekend? No worries, as the Texas Brahmas of the Central Hockey League (CHL) will be airing their first game via the internet Friday evening, November 30 as they take on the Mississippi RiverKings for a 7:05 PM start.
The CHL has partnered with Network Foundation Technologies (NFT) for the 2007-08 season to provide "FREE-for-View" live broadcast of games to fans, made possible through NFT's NiFTy Online Television product. This partnership will provide world-wide access to all regular season and playoff games at no cost to the viewer.
This is the first time the Brahmas home games have been available on the web in the history of the franchise.
"We are excited to finally join our other CHL partners in this technology," said Mike Barack, General Manager of the Brahmas.
Virtually all Brahmas home games will be broadcast on the web with the visiting team's radio broadcast being provided for play-by-play. Programming is available for features and team's sponsors and advertisers to gain additional exposure.
"This is great for our fans and sponsors and is another way for us to connect to our customers," said NYTEX Sports President Frank Trazzera.
