Scorps Will Indulge You This Weekend

[ RIO RANCHO, N.M.]-The New Mexico Scorpions return to home ice to play the Colorado Eagles Friday night and the Rocky Mountain Rage Saturday night. Plenty of exciting promotions are on tap, including the annual Pets 'n' Pucks Night.

Friday night, pet owners are invited to come to the game with their pets. Owners are welcome to bring any pet from their dog to their cat to their iguana or even their favorite goat.

Pets must be registered for this night prior to the game by calling Terry Trujillo at 891-7308. All pets must be registered by Friday, November 30th. All registered pets will be included in an intermission pet parade on the ice.

Saturday features the annual Toys for Tots Toy Drive. Fans are asked to bring an unwrapped new toy for those children less fortunate this holiday season. For those bringing a toy, the Scorpions will give out a coupon good for $5 off any home game in December along with being entered into a drawing for fabulous prizes.

Fan can also indulge themselves this coming Saturday. Get ready for the holidays with a special gift for someone on your list. During the game, winners will be chosen at random and rewarded with indulgent gifts such as a spa and salon gift certificate, maid services, limousine ride, art for your home or office and, of course, flowers and chocolate.

Kids tickets start as low as $7.50 on selected seats with group ticket pricing as low as $10. Groups start as small as 10 people and will add excitement at an affordable price to your weekend's activities.
