
Brace Named Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week

The Owen Sound Attack has named forward Cameron Brace the teams Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week for the week ending Sunday, January 15th.
Brace, a native of Markham notched his 15th goal of the season on Friday evening in a 3-1 Attack victory over the Erie Otters at the Bayshore Community Centre. On Saturday evening, Brace and the Attack were back at home against the very same Otters at the Bayshore. The 5'10 forward didn't let up, scoring the Attack's first goal of the game and adding an assist in a 5-0 Attack win.
Brace now sits 4th on team scoring, having tallied 16 goals and 14 assists to go along with a +14 rating.
Honorable mention goes to Captain Michael Halmo who scored his 25th, 26th and 27th goals of the year while extending his career high point streak to 14 games. Originally Halmo's point streak was snapped at 8 games, however; an assist was granted to Halmo after the League Office reviewed a goal in Kitchener on December 30th. Halmo has since tallied a point in every game.
The Attack is back in action at home this Wednesday evening when Rogers TV presents the Attack vs. the Plymouth Whalers at the Bayshore. Game time is 7:00pm and tickets are available at the Attack Box Office, by calling (519) 371-7452 or online at www.attackhockey.com .
