New York Boulders News Release
After the Boulders racked in eight runs on Friday, the offense couldn't manufacture the same type of production in Rockland's 4-2 loss to the New Jersey Jackals (13-13) on Saturday. The Boulders (15-11) remain 1.5 games behind the Sussex County Miners for first place in the Can-Am.
The two runs for Rockland came on Matt Oberste's first-inning RBI single and Blake Grant-Parks' solo home run in the seventh inning. Starter Pasquale Mazzoccoli lasted six innings and gave up three earned runs on five hits.
The Boulders seek their second series win over the Jackals this season when the two teams retake the diamond on Sunday at Palisades Credit Union Park. First pitch is slated for 1:30 p.m.
