The Rockland Boulders salvaged the final game of a three-game set against the New Jersey Jackals on Thursday night at Yogi Berra Stadium.
Rockland had three multi-run innings and hit five home runs in the game to avoid the sweep and win 12-3.
Left fielder Kevin Krause and first baseman Mikael Mogues went back-to-back to kick off the Rockland fifth inning against Mariel Checo.
Checo entered the inning not allowing a hit in the first four innings of work.
Later, second baseman Cody Regis hit his 12th home run of the year, tying Trois-Rivieres Aigles third baseman Taylor Brennan for the Can-Am League lead.
It was a three-run blast for Regis, caping off a five run top of the fifth.
New Jersey quickly responded against Rockland starter Garrett Johnson in the home half of the frame.
Designated hitter Jordan Hinshaw delivered his first Jackals RBI on a single to sore left fielder Connor Hofmann.
First baseman Dean Green then followed with a two-run home run, tying him with teammate David Harris for the team lead. The Boulders lead was trimmed to two.
Rockland connected for two more home runs in the top of the seventh.
Right fielder Connor Bierfeldt hit a solo home run, and catcher Marcus Nidiffer followed him with a solo blast as well.
The Boulders brought across four more runs in the top of the eighth.
Three RBI doubles by center fielder Mike Montville, JC Rodriguez and Bierfeldt made the game 11-3.
With the bases loaded, third baseman Conrad Gregor drew a walk to score the 12th run for Rockland.
New Jersey had to lean on its third baseman Daniel Canela to record the final out in the eighth inning and work the ninth.
The Jackals look to rebound on Friday night as they welcome in the Quebec Capitales for a three-game series at Yogi Berra Stadium.
First pitch is slated for 7:05 P.M.
