Muskegon Lumberjacks News Release

MUSKEGON, MI.--- With their latest undefeated streak reaching 3-consecutively at 3(2-0-1), the league-leading Muskegon Lumberjacks, at 20(14-4-2) 30-points and .750 winning percentage, have captured more league-wide kudos spawned from their latest sweep of the past week.

On this date, the Lumberjacks, in collaboration with the International Hockey League, have announced that right wing ROBIN BOUCHARD has been named MEIJER / IHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK and SEBASTIEN CENTOMO has been hailed as MEIJER / IHL GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK for the week of November 30th through December 6th.

This is the second consecutive week in which Bouchard has worn the league's royal and regal robes as he engineered two more 2-points' performances in the 'Jacks sweep of both of their encounters the past weekend. For the weekend, he was 2(2-2-4) with a +2 rating and 9-SOG. He has now fashioned three consecutive 2-point games with 3(4-2-6) in that span while amassing an astronomical 26-points in the last 13-games on 13-goals, 13-assists. In his team's Friday night 3-0 vanquishing of always formidable Port Huron, Rockin' Robin rifled the game's FG/PP/GWG as well as the IG with both being boomed in the middle frame of the same game. He crowned his enormous performance with the game's #2 Star laurels. In the league-leaders 6-2 verdict over Quad City Saturday night, he served-up 2-sumptuous assists to complete another "Bouchardian" banner night.

For the overall campaign, the 36-year-old 16-year pro reigns as the circuit's supreme scoring sovereign with 35-points in 20-games on 17-goals, 18-assists. He tops the loop in goals (17); PPG (6); GWG (5); SOG (84) and multi-goal games (6). His 18-assists and +20 rating both rank him a lofty and lusty #3 in the IHL. "The Gun-Sling King" is 39-goals away from becom-ing the all-time greatest goal-scoring colossus in minor pro hockey history with the magic number being 683 and his current number standing at 644 and counting!

As for Centomo, the 28-year old 9-year pro has been the quintessential human puck barricade thus far this season. The past weekend, he grudgingly surrendered a minuscule 2-GA in 2-games, including 1-shutout masterpiece in Friday's triumph over Port Huron. Honored as the game's #1 Star, Centomo proceeded to "zero" the opposition for 103:10 spanning over 5-consecutive shutout periods in spearheading Muskegon's sweep of the week. For the week, he was 2(2-0-0) with a miserly, microscopic 1.00 GAA and .955 SPCT. The Laval, PQ product is presently on a personal 7-game win streak with a stellar and stingy 1.81 GAA and .920 SPCT. For the season, he leads the league in wins with 9 and GPI with 14. Moreover, Centomo ranks circuit second with a 2.26 GAA and in MIN 795:07. He has posted a sparkling home record of 9(8-1-0).

The former CHL Goaltender of the Year was honored last week as the Meijer / IHL November Goaltender of the Month.
