Boston Breakers Call up Midfielder Riley Houle

HANOVER, Mass. (June 26, 2015) - The Boston Breakers announced today that midfielder Riley Houle has been named to the roster as an amateur call-up.

The 21-year-old from Columbia, Conn. starred at the University of Connecticut, amassing 17 goals and 13 assists in four seasons (2011-2014) with the Huskies.

A First Team All-Conference and NSCAA/Continental Tire All-Northeast Region First Team selection in 2014, Houle ranked second on the Huskies with six goals and 17 points. She registered a team-high five assists. UConn posted a record of 14-5-5 and reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2014.

This season with the unbeaten Boston Breakers Reserves of the Women's Premier Soccer League, Houle has two goals and one assist.

From 2008 to 2012, Houle played for the New England Mutiny in the WPSL. She joined the team as a junior in high school, becoming one of the youngest players to ever suit up for the Mutiny.
